Neighborhoods like German Village and Victorian Village, both within a two minute bus ride from the heart of downtown Columbus, have become increasingly popular with professionals seeking an urban lifestyle and a convenient commute.

A return to neighborhood school assignments and a passage of a school operating levy has helped spark the first significant increase in enrollment in Columbus Public Schools in over 20 years, a sign that the city was becoming more attractive to families.
