NorthCoast Press

NorthCoast Press is pleased to present, for your reading pleasure, the further exploits of those boys from U.N.C.L.E.

We have several fanzines dedicated to keeping this former #1 television show, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." alive. If interested in reading brief descriptions of some of the stories included in the latest issue, plus ordering information for all back issues, read on. "The Kuryakin File" is listed below, but we hope you will also check out EYES ONLYor NOVELLAS or BACK ISSUES (NorthCoast Press keeps all of its fanzines in print) for information on the fine fanzines published by NorthCoast Press. If you would like to contribute (and we hope you do!), please go to "Kuryakin Files Guidelines" or "Eyes Only Guidelines" for submission information. It is never too early to send us your manuscript for consideration.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

I am now able to accept PAYPAL. However, contact me first with order total and I will let you know amount to transfer.

One of my best friends, Carol Jones, died this past August (2006). She was only 58 years old. Carol was a regular at Media West Con, and many may remember her for her counted cross stitch portraits of Illya Kuryakin, and several of the characters from the various Star Trek shows. She usually had a table in the Dealers' Room next to mine, and always rode to the Con and roomed with me. I met Carol at a SpyCon many many (probably too many) years ago, and we became fast friends. Carol wrote one story in a past Kuryakin File and I plan to re-run it in issue #26 in her honor. Carol will be sorely missed. The below picture is, from left to right, Lisa, Carol, Linda, and in front, Jana at a recent MWC, in happier times. We all miss you Carol and know you will remain with us in spirit.

And if you are at all curious as to how I'm able to keep all these zines in print, plus do several more each year (not to mention keeping my family in clean clothes and decent meals), well check me out at Lisa .

The Kuryakin File #25

Kuryakin File 25

The You Drive Me Batty Affair

by Lisa Madden
Illya Kuryakin is having bad dreams. His partner decides to take matters into his own hands to find out why.

Discover how bats, and cats, and little old ladies who dabble in the occult play an integral part in solving this mystery that is keeping our boys up at night.

Medals of Honor

by Periwinkle
"My flight leaves in an hour and mr. Waverly will never forgive me if I'm late."

"Goodbye, Napoleon. don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"Illya, you never do anything."

"Exactly."

Twenty-four hours later, Napoleon was missing.

The Last Affair

by Loretta Greco
Chuck Johnson mysteriously left U.N.C.L.E., presumed dead all these years. Now, years later, he's resurfaced as the new head of Thrush, New York. And not just him, but his wife, the beautiful Carla Myers.

Why has she suddenly contacted Sir Raleigh? It seems 16 years previously, she had a son. She needs U.N.C.L.E.'s help in getting herself and her son away from her husband and Thrush.

Why are Solo and Kuryakin involved in what appears to be a domestic affair? Because Carla now claims that Napoleon is the father of her child. Sir Raleigh wants the secrets Chuck Johnson stole so many years ago, but will Napoleon actually put his gut before his heart, and use Carla to this end?

182 pages, color front cover by Cat's Meow, inside art by Charlie Kirby and Romanse; comb bound.
