The Hotel

ADAMCON 09 will be staying in the newly remodeled Best Western 150-suite MIDWAY MOTOR LODGE with a HOFFMAN HOUSE restaurant in the building. The MIDWAY has an indoor pool/game room under a domed atrium area. You can stay in the hotel and swim in the pool, relax in the whirlpool, play some billiards poolside, challenge the video games in the game room, work out in the exercise room, or the hotel courtesy vans will bring you to the nearby shopping malls for whatever length of time it takes to separate you from your money.

Nearby Attractions

Located across the street is a strip mall shopping center with Radio Shack, Target, Office Max, Bakery, Hallmark Shop, etc. Next door is a water theme park. The hotel is within 5 minutes of Kent County International Airport, and within 3/4 mile of Grand Rapids' 2 major shopping malls (Woodland Mall and Eastbrook Mall). Also within walking distance are many restaurants: Fuddrucker's, Denny's, Wendy's, Olive Garden, Damon's Ribs, Yin Ching and more!

Grand Rapids and Beyond

For those who want to venture out on Saturday (or any other day), Grand Rapids has many attractions to see including the new museum on the downtown riverfront, the Gerald R. Ford presidential museum, the Art museum, and also the Whitecaps minor league baseball stadium. For those more adventuresome, the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan are less than 50 minutes away.

Even if you don't wish to participate in the convention, there's something for everybody to do!
